What is one cool fact about yourself?
I had the pleasure of shaking hands with the first African American President of the United States of America, Barack Obama. The BEST day of my life.
You’re a flight. So exciting! I love to travel so much that I thought about applying. How is your experience? What are the challenges you encounter? What is the most rewarding part of the job?
Oh wow! I’ve been a flight attendant for 2 and a half years now. I absolutely adore traveling the world and meeting people from different walks of life. Even though flight attending was not apart of my original plan, I’d never regret the decision I’ve made. The experience of being a flight attendant is definitely a unique one. I had to quickly adapt to the lifestyle. It consist of 13-hour workdays, 3:30 AM start times, and less than 10-hour overnights including being away from home on holidays. However, free travel, great pay and of course the feeling of empowerment when I put on my work uniform, keeps me here and happy. I love my job!
What have you learned, traveling across the world as a flight attendant?
While traveling across the world as a flight attendant, I’ve learned that Chicago is hands down my favorite city. There is no place like Chi City, my city. We have the best skyline, food and winters. I don’t mind the cold and I don’t mind the snow because winter isn’t winter without it. Plus, all of my family is here. Chicago is home!
How do you balance your YouTube channel and personal life especially since you;re always on the go?
Correct! I am always on the go. I manage to balance my Youtube Channel and personal life by scheduling everything and stay committed. From packing to lunch dates and of course editing my Vlogs, I schedule everything. I tend to find that balance is a lot easier when things are placed on a schedule. If I didn’t have the planner my mom bought me, I’d be lost.
